Bankruptcy Counseling and Certification

The contribution we request to cover the costs involved for the Pre-Petition Bankruptcy Counseling filing certification is $50.00. This contribution can be made as a bank draft, the information for which needs to be completed below to continue. If your contribution of $50 is not honored by your bank and returned unpaid, a fee of $20 will be assessed to cover our bank charges.

The bank draft will not occur until you have completed the counseling process, so if you are unable to finish on this visit your account will not be drafted until you have completely gone through this process and received your certificate.

This certificate is required as a part of your bankruptcy filing, so once you have received it you will need to give a copy of the certificate to your attorney. As a complimentary service we will also fax a copy to your attorney if you request it.

This certificate will be valid for 180 days from the date of its issuance, if you do not file within that time frame, you may be required to complete the counseling process again prior to filing bankruptcy.
