Who is Community Credit Counseling?
Community Credit Counseling Specialists (CCC) is an IRS-designated
501(c)(3) non-profit organization and a member in good standing with the
Better Business Bureau for over 24 years that has previously provided
budget/debt counseling services and financial education to the communities
that we serve since 1982. We are not a lending or financial institution.
Funding has come from voluntary contributions from creditors, clients and
other community-based organizations, grants, and client fees.
CCC has recently completed some significant operational
changes. After 30 years in operation, CCC has closed our Toledo office and
will focus our efforts primarily in providing personal financial education
and on-line Bankruptcy Financial Education Certification to clients. Another
significant change will involve Debt Repayment Plans (DRPs). CCC will no
longer directly provide services to set up and administer DRPs. Active DRPs
previously set up with CCC are now being administered by Advantage Debt
Management of America, 4015 Executive Park, Suite 150, Cincinnati, Ohio
